Parikshit

Parikshit was the son of #Abhimanyu. He was still-born due to Ashwatthama's Brahmastra, but brought back to life by Krishna.

- Janamajeya was the son of #Parikshit, and thus the great grandson of Arjuna. In order to avenge his father, he decided to perform a Sarpasatra (Snake sacrifice) and wipe out all living snakes. The Mahabharata was recited by Vaishampayana at this sacrifice when Janamajeya asked about his ancestors.
