The Pandavas

The Pandavas is a collective noun and refers to the sons of #Pandu from #Kunti and #Madri. These are, in order of birth:

Ghattotkacha
- Son of #Bhima and the Rakshashi Hidimbi. Led the Rakshashas on the side of the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra War.
The Kurukshetra War
- The Kurukshetra War refers to the 18 days of battle between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. This war is a major plot-point of the Mahabharata and many Parvans of the epic are directly on the battlefield.
Bheeshma
- The Grandsire of the Kauravas and the Pandavas. Raised both Dhritarashtra as well as #Pandu and arranged wives for them to marry.
