The Kurukshetra War

The Kurukshetra War refers to the 18 days of battle between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. This war is a major plot-point of the Mahabharata and many Parvans of the epic are directly on the battlefield.

Ghattotkacha
- Son of #Bhima and the Rakshashi Hidimbi. Led the Rakshashas on the side of the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra War.
Andhayug
- Andhayug translates as “the Age of Blindness”. It is a play written by #Dharamvir Bharati and talks about the destruction caused by war and it’s futility and is set on the last day of the Kurukshetra War.
Abhimanyu
- Abhimanyu was the son of #Arjuna and #Subhadra. He was a famed warrior and died in the Kurukshetra War inside the Chakravyuha formation.
