Ugrashravas Sauti
Sauti narrated the Mahabharata, as we know it today, to sages in the Naimisharanya. The Mahabharata is structured as a dialogue between Sauti and the sages in the forest (especially Saunaka). Sauti was a Suta (bard) and son of the famous bard Lomaharshana (literally, the one who causes the hair on your hand to stand up).
